World-Class Private Aircraft SafetyOur Commitment to Safety.
Maintaining the highest safety standard, first and foremost, begins with our people and a shared commitment across the organization. Recognized as a leader in the industry, our robust safety organization reports directly to the CEO. Focused on reliability, quality assurance, and quality control, the XOJET Safety Management System incorporates best practices from the U.S. Air Force, Coast Guard and commercial airline carriers and applies them to private aviation.
Operations Command Center
Fly safer with our world-class operations infrastructure. Based in Sacramento, California, our 21,000 square foot and round-the-clock operations center is home to over 100 team members. From our Chief Pilot's office to Maintenance Control experts, each team supports the safe execution of your flight. With our Wi-Fi-equipped fleet, every flight maintains live communication with our Operations Command Center to proactively identify operational variables and implement solutions in real-time.
Above Industry Standards
Our collective efforts and commitment to safety leadership is recognized by the Federal Aviation Administration and the industry's most distinguished audit organizations. Our safety ratings include:
IS-BAO Stage 3
Recognized globally, the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations Stage 3 is considered the world's most prestigious safety rating. The rating thoroughly audits an operator's flight department and effectiveness.
The highest safety rating awarded by ARG/US International, and awarded to operators who demonstrate the ability to implement the industry's best safety practices relative to their operations and maintenance.
The prestigious Wyvern Wingman rating, developed by Wyvern Consulting firm, is awarded to aviation operators who completed challenging compliance and risk assessment practice audits within a preceding year.
We own and operate one of the finest and largest fleet of Challenger 300 and Citation X super mid-size jets in the country. Not only does our fleet offer an exceptional onboard experience, each jet also features advanced safety equipment including Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning Systems, Automated External Defibrillators, and iPad equipped pilots to access a suite of FAA and operational resources.
Our pilots are commanders of the sky. Each of XOJET's 150+ pilots have been carefully selected from the best in the industry—averaging more than 7,500 hours of flight time. Every XOJET flight is under the command of two full-time, type-rated FAA-recognized captains, meeting stringent requirements that exceed FAA standards. Our pilots undergo semi-annual, recurrent training which emphasizes scenario-based simulations of operationally challenging airports including mountain destinations.
All aircraft maintenance is completed to manufacturer specifications by top tier vendors, under the supervision of our highly trained Field Service Supervisors. In between scheduled maintenance events, we have implemented key inspection checkpoints and service measures to enhance the reliability of our fleet. Additionally, our expert teams participate in Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) advisory boards to exchange data and collectively improve the fleet reliability.
Operational Risk Management
At XOJET, we own and operate a fleet of aircraft, and handpick and train our skilled pilots. By doing so, we have developed deep insight and expertise into proactive operational risk management—a true XOJET differentiator.
With this in mind, we developed an industry-leading and proprietary Pilot Wellness Program to measure and manage variables related to crew tasking and crew rest. Statistics show that fatigued pilots are more likely to make mistakes, thus we have implemented best practices which compensate for time zone differences and incorporate increased rest time between trips—another example of industry safety leadership.
