XOJET ROLLS OUT FIRST NATIONWIDE NETWORK OF FIXED PRICE CHARTER ROUTES STARTING AT $12,000
Groundbreaking Expansion of “All-In” Fixed Pricing Revolutionizes the way Charter is Purchased, Offering Significant Value on Over 15,000 Dedicated Routes
San Carlos, California — June 15, 2009 — Seeking to demystify historically complex pricing in the private jet charter market, XOJET announced it has launched a first-of-its-kind national network of simple, transparent rates starting at $12,000 on over 15,000 dedicated routes. Today’s launch marks the first time fixed pricing has been openly published and offered on a national scale for on-demand charter service, eliminating the need for buyers to compare complicated quotes or negotiate with multiple providers.
XOJET, the market share leader for transcontinental on-demand charter service, owns and operates the largest and newest private fleet of Cessna Citation X aircraft. Earlier this year, the company launched select fixed-price coast-to-coast Citation X packages starting at $19,000, a savings of approximately 20 to 30 percent over typical charter rates.
The company’s new network of routes delivers significant value pricing for business travelers flying to or from 13 major metro areas in the U.S. who need a safe, convenient and cost effective way to manage business travel. With a speed of Mach .92, the Citation X is the fastest way to travel cross country; a trip from Los Angeles to New York can take just four and a half hours. XOJET’s fixed-price routes include service between major U.S. cities including: New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, San Diego, Miami, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.
Fixed-price routes also benefit leisure travelers flying to popular vacation destinations across the country. Fliers can travel with XOJET’s award winning service to locations including: Key West, Nantucket, Martha’s Vineyard, Napa, Palm Springs and more.
The “all-in” package includes travel on an XOJET Citation X, which seats up to eight passengers, ground transportation in both the departure and arrival cities, standard catering and unlimited in-flight worldwide calls. Clients do not pay any additional fees, repositioning costs, or face fuel surcharges, as is common in the industry.
“Now more than ever, corporate and individual fliers are seeking more cost-efficient options, without sacrificing quality and service,” said David Siegel, CEO of XOJET. “The efficiencies we have achieved with our scale and business model allow XOJET to deliver a whole new level of value to our clients. The launch of this national network of all-in prices completely changes the way charter is purchased, and eliminates the complexity customers faced buying charter service in the past.”
The entire XOJET fleet consists of new aircraft with an average age of a year and a half, in stark contrast to the charter industry’s average of greater than fourteen years.
XOJET has earned the distinguished Platinum rating from Aviation Research Group/U.S. (ARG/US) for the company’s rigorous operational standards. The rating is widely recognized as the ultimate acknowledgement of excellence in operational practices and flight safety standards, and is the highest-level safety audit rating in private aviation.
