VistaJet, XOJET Report 2018 Results

The two subsidiaries of Vista Global posted significant gains in memberships and flying last year. XOJET said it achieved 8% growth in total revenues and 17% increase in revenues from its charter brokerage. Combined, the two companies own and operate 116 super midsize, large and long-range private jets.

XOJET closed out 2018 under new ownership with an 8 percent bump in total revenues, 17 percent rise in brokerage revenues, and expansion in its membership programs and fleet. Acquired by Vista Global Holding in the fourth quarter, XOJET surpassed 1,000 members last year, a milestone reached in a little more than 18 months after the firm rolled out its Access Solutions membership programs.

Vista Global Holding, the Dubai-based company formed 10 days ago, made its first acquisition by entering into an agreement to buy XOJET, a large California-based operator of private jets and seller of jet cards and on-demand charter. Combined with its existing VistaJet subsidiary, the move gives Vista Global an owned fleet of 115 super midsize, large cabin and ultra-long-range private jets.

Earlier this morning Thomas Flohr’s VistaJet announced it had reached an agreement to acquire XOJET via Vista Global, a Dubai based holding company formed earlier this month. The deal covers XOJET’s business aviation fleet and commercial operations, and the release said XOJET’s regulated air carrier will continue to be independently operated in a joint venture under U.S. control and leadership, in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation criteria.
