Austin Schell joined XOJET in 2013 and serves as President, Fleet Operations. Mr. Schell is responsible for the Company’s fleet operations P&L, including pricing/revenue management, network logistics, and flight operations. He also leads the Company’s artificial intelligence/machine learning initiatives and supports the CEO in crafting long-range corporate strategy and capital deployment.
Mr. Schell has worked in executive leadership, private equity, and investment banking for 15 years. Prior to his present role, he served as XOJET’s Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to XOJET, Mr. Schell held senior roles including Chief Financial Officer at Wildlands, Inc., a national leader in for-profit environmental restoration. Among other duties, he was responsible for investment underwriting and the evaluation, diligence, and negotiation of strategic acquisitions. Prior to Wildlands, Mr. Schell was an associate at Parthenon Capital Partners, a mid-market private equity firm, where he executed growth capital and leveraged buyout transactions in the financial services and business services sectors. Before Parthenon, he spent two years as an analyst at UBS Investment Bank.
Mr. Schell is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Virginia, where he earned his B.A. with Distinction in Spanish and Economics.
