John Nyaradi joined XOJET as a Pilot in 2015 and currently serves as Vice President, Flight Standards and Training. In this role, Captain Nyaradi is responsible for the Company's Flight Standards Program which includes development of Company Standard Operating Procedures and administration of the Company's Flight Standards Captains and FAA Designated Check Pilots programs.
At XOJET, John has also served as a Citation X Captain, Check Pilot, Standards Captain, Flight Standards Officer, Safety Officer and member of the Company's Aviation Safety Awareness Program Event Review Committee.
He has accumulated more than 23,000 hours flying time and holds six type ratings. Prior to joining XOJET, Captain Nyaradi was a United Airlines pilot for 36 years. During his career at United, he flew as Captain on the Boeing 737, Airbus A320, Boeing 777 and Boeing 747. He also served in Flight Standards for 14 years as a Line Check Airman.
Captain Nyaradi began his career as a United States Air Force Officer and Pilot where he was winner of the Flying Training Award and a Distinguished Graduate in Undergraduate Pilot Training and was Honor Student in Advanced Pilot Training.
He holds a B.A. in International Studies from Bradley University, is a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, and he and his wife have two sons who are Officers in the United States Navy.
