Wine Worth Talking About
True to its name, The Debate creates thought-provoking, one-of-a-kind wines intended to inspire both interpretation and conversation. Its mission is simple: to bring people together to share a glass of wine, discuss different points of view, and celebrate diversity of terroir and people.
Every three-pack of The Debate wine includes three singular expressions of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Sourced from three of the most renowned vineyards in the Napa Valley—Beckstoffer Missouri-Hopper, To Kalon, and Dr. Crane Vineyards—each bottle uses the same farmer and winemaking technique to accentuate the region’s unique variety of terroir and offer a distinct sense of time and place.
Made by distinguished consulting winemaker Jean Hoefliger and led by investor, philanthropist, and businessman Rob McKay, The Debate also adds a unique twist to its bottle design. Instead of standard brand labels, The Debate wines are wrapped in newspaper-like clippings covering “The Debates” of the bottle’s vintage—yet another reason to strike up a conversation.
